I would get at least a GTX 660 if you want it to last that long. But you can always upgrade in the future so it should be fine for now.

If you plan on overclocking CPU you can add a CPU cooler (you can save around $30-40 by getting a cheaper case and/or optical drive also)

Looks like you have mail in rebates turned on too. That would explain the much lower price when you posted it out completely.

Yea I didnt want to change his case and pick a cheaper one as its his "style" though I did mention it that he could save $30ish by getting a cheaper one, also I left his blu ray player rather then chose a cheaper one, I mentioned both in my parts recommendation message which could save him $30-40 or more

Im knew to pc gaming what do you mean overclocking your cpu

Well you can increase the "speed" of a CPU, for example, a CPU that runs at 2.5ghz can be made to run 3.2ghz by changing certain "things" in your computer, so in the above example you have just overclocked your CPU from 2.5ghz to 3.2ghz, that speed increase normally gives you a bump in performance in games, multitasking etc (the level of performance jump can vary)

So there is a simple explanation but since you are completely new to it I suggest not worrying about it, both logainofhades and I have given recommendations that will allow you to overclock whenever you feel ready

You generally want to spend more on GPU than CPU. For games GPU matters far more. You always want to try to get the fastest one you can afford without sacrificing too much elsewhere, when on a budget. FX 6300 with the 270x will be a good deal better than an HD 7850, especially a 1gb 7850. Games are starting to use up more video ram as well.
