I currently have one sapphire 7870 and I'm looking to add more gpu power to my computer.
I game on a 1080p monitor and have my secondary monitor running off a gtx 550 I had lying around. My question is, what would be stronger? The 7870s in crossfire or getting a 780 and selling the 7870. I'm hesitant to get another 7870 because if I get the 780 I'll be able to upgrade it over time easier by turning that into SLI and if I turn the 7870s into crossfire they will eventually go out of date and will end up having to sell both cards. If I go crossfire the gtx 550 running my other monitor will be not used anymore...
p.s. I don't like a lot of noise, anyone have noise reduction recommendations for 600T corsair (with h100i)?
