Is the GTX 760 worth buying over the Radeon HD 270x

Hello I am upgrading from a GTX 550ti SLI. I would like the know which graphics card is better and by how much and based from that information.Is it worth to spend the extra money for a GTX 760 over the Radeon HD 270x. Here are the links to the two graphic cards.

I believe radeon also has a promotional offer if you buy one of their gpu's also.

The GTX760 is much better value and performance option right now over the R9 270X. The price of the R9 is artificially inflated due to the cryptocurrency mining rush.

Performance-wise, the GTX 760 is a rebrand of the GTX 670. The R9 270X is a rebrand of the HD7870 (Tahiti) models. Which only slightly outperform the GTX 660Ti.

GTX 760=GTX 670 > R9 270X=HD 7870(Tahiti) > GTX 660Ti

@Teejers OK first off the 270x is an overclocked 7870 (Pitcairn) basically what a 770 is to a 680. Second the 760 is not a rebrand of the 670 and it performs less than a 670 although not by much. Please, please know what you are talking about before replying

@fudungi there was nothing listed on the newegg page about free games for the r9 series so I took that to mean there were no games with it. If you could please link me to a page that proves otherwise I'd appreciate it. Last I heard you didn't get anything with the r9/r7 cards it was just with the 7xxx series. But even the free games you got with them tended to not be brand new high end games like assassins creed. I believe their best game was far cry 3 but you can pick that up for less than ten bucks most of the time

If it helps at all with my msi 270 I got i usually get 60-70 fps in bf4 when It gets crazy it can drop to 45 but it usually stays over 50 fps which is really good performace for the price. I am playing 1920x1080 with ultra preset 2x msaa. can play maps like operation locker with 4x msaa and still get 60-70 with no drops at all. I dont know much about the 760 just giving some input on what I am getting i battlefield 4

op is deciding between the 760 and the 270x. 270x != 270
