buying this pc build. what do you think?

Hi all. First of all i was going to build my own pc but then i come across this pc already built and he wants $800 for it can you tell me is it worth it or should I stick with building a new pc as $800 is about my budget and I am in AUS.

What games should this be able to play and on what settings? Call of duty ghosts? Wow? Diablo 3? many other new games? On what settings?

Would you think this pc will last a while before I need to upgrade? 2yrs?

More about buying build
  1. You won't get that building it yourself lol especially with a 3d monitor and headset and OS. The 7970 is essentially a 280x, so you'll be good for awhile, 2 years easy.
  2. Well the i7-2600K has long been discontinued. You should think about increasing your budget to accommodate the much newer i5-4670K.

He's saying he can buy that whole thing prebuilt for $800 AUS. He won't get near that building it himself with the prices in Australia.
  4. Yeah that is correct my budget is about $800ish but if I can buy this build I have posted above would you reccommend buying this box and it will last a while I hope?

Is this i7 good enough to last me a while. I was looking at getting a amd fx-6300 is this i7 better?

    Is this hd 7970 3gb better then a r9270 2gb?

This build will last a lot longer than anything you build for $800 AUS especially including the monitor, OS and headset.

It's an unlocked CPU, so you can overclock it too.

Here's a build that perform similarly you could build yourself (spoiler: costs almost $2000, and no 3d display lol)

Yes, the 7970 is essentially a 280x, which is a big step up from the 270x

Yeah true, buying new would run well over $1200 AUD, that's actually not that bad of a deal for that price.
