If the adobe programs make use of GPU, the A10 could possibly be better. An FX 6300 and HD 7770 would be even better yet for less than the cost of an i5. If your Adobe programs are CPU dependent, and i5 would be better choice. If multicore support is good for said programs, an FX 8320 for $150 or a Xeon 1230v2 for $225 are good choices as well. You would need a discrete GPU to run with them. Any low end pci-e gpu should work though.

Yes for 40 bucks more you get more apu power but that's 40 bucks and the margin isn't going to be overwhelming like you think see I have the 3850 apu the 5800 k the 6600 k and the 5600 k apu and sure the graphics power is far better then the intel graphics but the intel chip is far better pc processing power its all up to you I never jump right onto the ship when its brand new and just shipped out the door that's when you pay too much for your stuff like buying a new card and its lost 50% of its value right after you drive it off the lot but if your willing to spend 179 to 189 for a apu chip that's fine I know I would rather get more computing power then worry about the gpu later it works hand in hand ....

If your just buying it for the gpu you might as well buy a 100 cpu and get a good 7770 radeon card you would be better off the 7850 is just slighty lower gpu power then the radeon 7750 gpu card anyone can explain this to you its been tested on the net yes its a feat no other cpu maker has this kind of gpu power in there ships not even intel yet but a discreet 7770 will blow the doors off the 7850 apu... power of gpu side of things...
