Does i5-4670k require a separate graphics card?

I am pondering the new a10-7850k and I know the graphics aren't great but for casual graphics it should be fine...just no gaming.
It also helps that I save money on not buying graphics card.

Does the i5-4670k same deal as a10 that it doesn't need a separate graphics card?

If it doesn't how does it compare to the i5-4670k?

Thanks

The processor seems more important in your situation. The i5's on-die GPU will be more than you need for most tasks. Besides, if you need more gfx power in the future, you can always add a discrete card. With the A10, you are about at the top of the food chain for processing power with that FM2/FM2+ socket.

I never do gaming. Only autocad and Adobe programs.
Advice? What's more important graphics or processor for me?

Like AMD's APUs, Intel Core i3/i5/i7 CPUs all have integrated graphic cores. Therefore, a graphics card is not required. The exception are "P" model Core i5 CPUs which do not have graphics cores.

The integrated graphics core in Intel CPUs are weak in comparison to AMD's Richland and Kaveri APUs. Kaveri APUs only have slightly better iGPU performance compared to Richland though. Below is a benchmark of Skyrim using integrated graphics and using dedicated graphics (GTX 670) from HardwareCanucks:

I will add that Skyrim heavily favors Intel CPUs so do not expect to see the huge difference in performance between a Core i5-4670k and FX-8350 in most other games when using a discrete graphics card. The 36% increase in performance from the FX-8350 to the i5-4670k using the same discrete graphics card is rather unique to Skyrim alone. In most other CPU dependent games it would be more like 10% - 15% (up maybe 20% at best). In games that do not really need a powerful CPU, performance should more or less be identical.

On the other hand when relying solely on the iGPU the A10-7850k clearly dominates the i5-4670k. The A10 gets 55% better performance than the i5.
