I've got a GTX 660 already with the short PCB but a full (~10 inch) cooler on it, and I'd like to shorten that up a bit to open up some space. I'm having a hard time finding an aftermarket cooler than will go that short *and* I know will be compatible with the 660. There are plenty of examples of 660's that ship with a smaller cooler, so if worst comes to worst I'd even be willing to get one of those second hand if someone else got one and upgraded.

And here is a picture as an example: http://images.bit-tech.net/content_images/2012/08/nvidia-geforce-gtx-660-ti-2gb-review/zotacgtx660-9b.jpg I'm looking for something like the bottom card pictured there.

Nvidia GPU coolers are fairly universal between the 400 - 700 series as the mounting holes around the GPU chip itself are all the same size. Height and Ram/VRM interference can be an issue.

Water blocks are an option, but then you would need a radiator, for both closed and open loop solutions.

Might be able to sneak this on there if you are mechanically inclined.

Might see if you can find a non-open box version of this somewhere:
