I put together my sig build around 2013 Black Friday, everything was pretty good. About a week ago while playing, my computer just shutdown for no apparent reason.

After that, if I let it sit for 10 mins and press the power button, the front fan light will turn on for half a second and nothing else, no HDD running, no fan whatsoever, nothing. Disconnected CPU power, still nothing, reconnected cpu power but disconnected power to Asus Matrix and it booted and worked fine (using onboard with asus still plugged in the MB). So from what I read, it was my PSU dying and so I orderd a EVGA SuperNova NEX750B, installed it and still same thing happening ? DAMN IT!

So, any ideas ? PCI-E slot dead ? I haven't tried it in other slot yet because my case is barely big enough for the first slot. My wife's pc has a bigger case but before I switch 2 full computer cases, I wanted to check here for comments/ideas?

Thank you.

Bad news, I put my wife's card (GTX 680) on my computer and it works just fine, I then put my asus matrix on my wife's computer and same thing happened, get a lil click like fans just about to start but don't and nothing works or boot. Contacted Asus for what I should do next.
