My monitor wont display it's native 1080p resolution...

So i just put a 780 into my rig and hooked up my monitor using DVI to VGA and i can't get any resolution higher than 1680x1050. Also NVIDIA Control Panel is recognizing it as an analog display... Please help...

  1. Control Panel, Appearance and Personalization, Adjust Screen Resolution, Advanced Settings, Monitor Tab, Uncheck "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display", Adapter Tab, List All Modes

    Hey thanks i have the 1080p resolution but the margins on the screen are all off...
