Hi guys! I'm thinking of building the following pc. Need advice on whether the cpu can support the two 760 mars (= 4x gtx 760). Any suggestions to bring the price down are of course welcome!
The pc is only meant for gaming.
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro ddr3 1600, CL9, 16GB
GPU: 2x Asus GeForce GTX 760 RoG Mars, 4096 MB DDR5
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K, 3,40 Haswell
CPU Cooler: Prolimatech Black series Genesis
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 modular
+ 480 GB SSD /+ 1TB HDD.

Is the CPU and the PSU enough for the build? Would an AMD CPU be as efficient? Or would it better to go with 2x 780ti in SLI? I'm thinking of using this monitor:
BenQ XL2720T, 120Hz.

Hey,

To be quite honest if you only plan on gaming then I would advise against dual 760 Mars cards. Quad SLI Gtx760s are completely unnecessary for gaming. One is more than enough. Also some games don't work well with SLI, so I would recommend to get a single card. Instead of two Gtx760 Mars cards you could get a Gtx780ti or two Gtx780s (dual SLI has a lot better support that quad SLI). The monitor you plan on using is only 1080p, and in this case a single Gtx 760 (non Mars) would also be enough. I would go for a single Gtx780ti, which is also overkill for what you need but its a much better choice than Quad SLI. The majority of games don't properly utilize Quad SLI and thus performance won't be very good, and in some cases can even be...

The rest of your system looks solid, however I urge you to reconsider your choice of graphics card(s).

Hope this helps!

No problem, glad I could help! The Gtx780ti is a beast.
