So on a program that I have appeared this: **Press the links to see the pictures**
http://prntscr.com/2jow5z
I pressed yes and sent me to here:
http://prntscr.com/2jowec
I pressed "graphic drivers" from the option 2 because I don't know much about graphic drivers and I wanted to look for the needed update automatically.
This is what it showed
http://prntscr.com/2joxpy
So I got to Sony since my laptop is sony vaio
and looked for a graphic driver compatible with my laptop model
http://prntscr.com/2joyfx
and then I installed
http://prntscr.com/2joyvm
but then when I finished installing it it says:
"The NVIDIA Driver was installed, but the NVIDIA Control Panel failed to install. Certain driver features may not be available until the control panel installs successfully"

I have looked everywhere for answers on youtube I saw that people looked for updates so easily because on the NVIDIA control panel you can select "Update the driver" but the option it doesn't appear on my control panel.

What should I do?
How can I delete the driver that I already have so I can reinstall and fix the problem of the control panel?

Solution
See if this helps, found on some website:
1. Open DriverSweeper and check "NVIDIA - Display" ONLY.

2. I recommend clicking analyze (bottom left) instead of clean (bottom right) because you can at least see what the program will remove.

3. It will ask you to reboot. This is important.

4. After reboot, do NOT (I repeat) DO NOT download new drivers from nvidia site. After doing so about 3 times, each installation worked, however said it failed to install nvidia control panel. so do the

5. Navigate to the following: start > search "windows update" > click enter > click # optional updates avialable". Look for anything that says "NVIDIA display". If there is nothing that says that, click check for updates on the left hand column.

apparently It didn't uninstall well, because when I did install the driver is still says "The NVIDIA Driver was installed, but the NVIDIA Control Panel failed to install. Certain driver features may not be available until the control panel installs successfully" and I tried to check if I had a control panel for NVIDIA driver and it has but the same one that I had

6. Click on install, and simply wait. The problem here was that a few times, windows would come up with an error, and not install it. But finally, 3rd time, it installed.

7. Reboot, right click, and enjoy the site of the nvidia control panel option!!

Hope this makes Panel work correctly.
