I'm picking a pc case fan to use for the front intake and at the top

and when i was searching for fans, i noticed that some of them say 'sleeve bearing'
something like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

and some don't say anything about sleeve.
like this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

what are the differences and would it work on any cases whether it's sleeved or not?

It's just the technology used in the fan bearings (sleeve bearing vs. ball bearing). If the fan dimensions fit your case you don't need to worry about whether they state sleeved bearing in the description. The fans will work as intended regardless of the bearing technology used.
