amd pcie 3 chipset

i want to know if its worth waiting for an amd pcie 3 motherboard by asus preferably, i know the sabertooth was recently made pcie 3, but i heard it was limited edition, and its sold out on newegg. how limited aam i with pcie 2? i plan on having two asus gtx 660 dual cu2. should i wait for pcie 3? im want this computer to be able to run games made in the next 5 years or so. should i wait? i dont really want to go intel...

With two GTX660 there will be no loss, reviewer for the first time have recommended 3.0 with dual GTX780 or R9 290 cards but I have not seen an actual test confirming that. i d get a mobo with t 990 chipset , which is 10% faster than 970 .

No and even if it comes with the current line of APU's it is not worth it for the lackluster CPU performance.

pcie 2 is about 2-5% less performant than pcie 3
SO its between 57-59fps instead of 60 fps

Source for that? Chipset shouldn't affect the performance, only functionality.
