I was playing online the other day, and people were bragging about their FPS and specs, and one guy said he was playing with two graphics cards at the same time! I tried to look this up, but everything I've found was in building a computer, which I'm not looking to do at the moment.

Anyways, my laptop has two graphics cards, the decent nvidea one, and the crappy intel intergrated one most laptops seem to have. How can I use both? An extra boost would be nice.

Solution
no you cannot use both at once to any type of benefit. the technology for using 2 gpu's at a time is called sli, or crossfire depending on if you are with nvidia or amd respectively and it requires 2 identically labeled cards for nvidia (same chip and memory) while it requires 2 very similar cards with amd
