I use firefox 99% of the time and google Chrome here and there. Inever use internet explorer. I also have a SSD drive and have all the stuff that u normally disable or whatnot while using a SSD vs a HDD. My Temp internet files will slowly and constantly fill my IE folder up. I've tried everything to delete them and nothing works. When i say it fills up i mean 80 gigs and maxing my SSD drive out. The only thing i can do is 1 format and re install windows, but it'll just slowly fill up the drive again OR use a program such as "foldersizes" so i can actually go into that hidden IE folder to delete the thousands of files. i'm talking hundreds of thousands of files that builds up. IVe never had this issue b4 and i didnt have it right away when i bought and set up my computer a couple years ago. i'd say the first time i noticed it fill up my drive was 8-9 months ago give or take. IDK if its as simple as my ssd needs a firmware update or maybe my bios needs updated. I really dont see how either factor into this, but im lost. AS i said, clearing the temp files within chrome or firefox does not solve the problem. I've went into the windows explorer looking thru the hidden folders and i cant get the IE folder to show up. Thats why i use foldersizes. It very annoying to have it fill up and every couple months i got to take a couple hours to delete them. plus the fact folder size is only trial and a pain to get new 1's so i can use them.
