This is pretty much what my first build will be, so I would like to see if those who are experienced in building pcs think this is good enough, and feel free to make some suggestions on what i should change. (By the way, my budget for the pc would be around 700-900 dollars.)

It's good except for 2 items. 1. You only have 1 stick of ram, you need 2. So get 2X4GB, that will run dual channel and be faster than just running 1 stick. 2. Your PSU - The builder series is not that great, Corsair doesn't even make them themselves. You can get the CX430M it's better and the 430 watts is plenty for your build. It's a good 100 watts more which is what I always recommend, enjoy...

I changed the memory to Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333. Is this okay?

Personally i would only ever use 1600mhz ram or higher, its just preference. In games the speed might only change the FPS by .2 of a frame, unnoticeable. If multi-tasking or doing heavily cpu tasks then something like 1600 mhz CAS 9 will improve performance.
