This would be my guess. I'd say it's unlikely that the cables snapped, and much more likely that they simply popped off. They should clip right back on, OP. Google a teardown guide for your laptop and take a look.

so could it be a part that came loose that is between the bottom of
the lcd screen casing and the base of the whole bottom it has two
clips that go in it one on each side its approximately 4-6 inches long

If (and I do not know this to be the case) your WiFi antenna is in the lid, then it could very well be that the connector cable has come loose or is broken.

O whatever else the WiFi system antenna is connected to. With a dropped laptop, it could be anything.
