Ok so I posted a few days ago with a build similar to this. After my friends tell me "amd sucks" or "You're gonna bottleneck the gpu" I decided to tweak my build.

Here is the build that got hated on.

I don't see why they were hating on amd. They all plan to play bf4 on their new intel builds, but bf4 is basically optimized for amd lol.

Anyway, here's the intel build. I don't know which one to take, but I like them both. That's why I need your opinions. Anyway, here you go.

I have to admit that AMD has some very nice bang for buck CPU's that will play BF4 just as well as Intel would. But when it comes to more CPU heavy games like AC4 or Skyrim, AMD really suffers, and I mean it suffers bad. I came from having both a Fx6300 and FX8350 and in AC4 whenever I'm in the city, the framerates were unbearable, they were so low. Even with a GTX 780. I sent back two AMD CPU's and I just finally settled on a i5 4670K and saw immediate improvements in some games. Don't listen to your friends, the FX8320 will not bottleneck the GPU and you'll be fine playing BF4 with the AMD CPU.

Do you have any recommendations on if I should change anything? Like the mobo, case, psu or cooler?

You don't need such an expensive motherboard, you can always get something cheaper like a MSI GD45 Z87 or an AsRock Killer Z87 Motherboard, which can save you a few dollars. The Shinobi is a very nice case but you might want to invest in an SSD, something like an Samsung EVO, not necessary considering how fast Windows 8.1 boots even from a HDD, but it's always nice to have. Other than that, it looks pretty good.

All of those prices include tax. And I was thinking about getting an SSD down the road since I'm pretty much over my budget lol. Is the AsRock killer Z87 meant to be a gaming mobo?
