Blue screen on Windows 8

A few minutes ago I arrived home, turned on the computer and everything was normal until Windows 8 displayed its blue screen. It was really fast, about 2 seconds or so, I could only catch a glimpse at it, and the computer restarted. Then it proceeded to boot normally and everything was normal. No error messages.

Should I be worried? How can I know what caused it?

Thanks for the attention.

BSOD in Win8 is just like a BSOD in any other version of windows. Most of the time it is bad ram or drivers, so update your drivers and run windows memory diagnostic. If not that then it may be new hardware that was added (particularly of the USB variety).

Outside of that, there is not a whole lot you can know until it happens more consistantly
