So I have a what I believe is a Diamond HD 5770 XOC edition that is refusing to run at the "stock clocks" of 930/1300. What i mean by this is that is passes amd's clock tests but when it game it will either crash my drivers or crash the computer.
I have messed with this and found its max stable overclock from the regular 850/1200 is 900/1290. This mysteriously matches up with the 6770 XOC.

Now what I think is wrong is that the previous owner decided to flash a different bios with this 930/1300 clock speed bios or maybe even edited the bios to 930/1300 and when it failed forgot to backup the original bios and sold the card to me.
Plus the 5770 XOC looks like this,

So what I am wondering is if anyone else thinks this could be why the card can't run at it's "stock clocks" and if any of you could help me to find the correct bios.
Or if you don't think that is not the issue let me know what you think it could be.
Any input is appreciated!!
Thanks in advance.
