Hey guys,

Im looking for a laptop for the following criteria:
Good for gaming AND recording games, mainly Minecraft( Record Minecraft at 60 FPS) but im sure when that steam summer sale comes around I would like to get more graphic intensive games like BF4.

I also will need this for editing/rendering video.

I want this laptop to have at least a 120 GB ssd for fast boot up and increased performance when gaming/recording

I am not to big on if its big or small but the smaller it is the better. I also want this thing to look decent... something I can carry around without lookin like a fool haha.
I am looking at a budget at 1400$ or less BUT I am willing to spend 1500$ if you find a laptop that fits all the criteria.

A laptop with a 15 inch screen thats HD

So far I have only been able to find this laptop that gets close to the criteria BUT is only a 14 inch display that isnt even HD. I dont know why it says HD+ but the resolution is only 1600 x 900. I am hoping for at least a 15 inch but if I have to do 14 ill do 14.

Here is the best thing I have found so far:

Thanks for the help!

On the site, you can customise it to include an SSD.

If you want with 14 inches, and slim, lightweight:

GIGABYTE P34G-CF1 (i7 4700HQ > i7 4702MQ)

Some less slim options: (with i7 4700HQ & GT765M)

GIGABYTE P27K-CF2

MSI GS70 2OD-229US

On the site, you can customise it to include an SSD.

I have a couple questions:

1. Will the GPU in this model be enough for recording Minecraft at ATLEAST 60 FPS? Also ill be interesting in streaming Minecraft too, will that GPU allow for that?

2. Will I able to overclock? I dont know if I will but I would like to know that I have the option in the future. They jack the price up pretty high when they overclock.

3. The default memory config is 1x8. I have a problem with that, its not dual channel. Would it be better and cheaper to upgrade it myself and throw in an extra 8 GB to make it 2x8? Or should I just let the factory upgrade it to 2x4GB for 50$? (Im okay with just 8 GB)

#1 - probably yeah, GTX 765M is pretty decent GPU ( between mid-high end for an laptop GPU )

#2 - You cant really overclock a laptop ( cause of HEAT, but you can try ) GTX 765M is sort of already "overclocked" ( higher stock clocks same architechture and core count )as GTX760M

#3 - if you dont do HEAVY video/picture editing/rengering 8GB will be enough for you.
