My Budget: $150-180 (including tax) The closer to the low end the better, but I'm willing to push it for something good.

Needs: Mostly gaming, and mostly MMOs. Don't play many FPS games on my PC.

Current Monitors I'm Looking at:

and

I know for the most part, the higher the MS the better when it comes to gaming monitors, but I'm not sure if that is outweighed by the clarity of the IPS screen, and the fact that I'm not really playing any fast moving shooters (mostly wow, I do do arenas which are fast paced, but not as screen whippy as an FPS).

These are just the 2 I was looking at, so if there are any better suggestions in that price range, it would be much appreciated. Trying to buy it by tonight.

Yes the 7ms is better. If I picked between the 2 I'd get the HP for the 7ms response time and for it's IPS panel. It should serve you well, enjoy...

Would that one be better then the 2 monitors listed? The Asus is only a TN, but that HP is an IPS aswell with a much lower MS. That LG is at 14 while the HP has 7. I feel like the 7 might not be too terrible, but the 14 might be pushing it for gaming? Correct me if I'm wrong because my monitor knowledge is very limited.
