Having Some Random Shut Offs

I have recently upgraded my desktop with some new internals (ASUS HD7790 2GB, AMD FX 6300, 8GB of Ram, and an MSI 970a-G46 MOBO). Anywhere from a minute to 2 hours after booting up, my computer will just power off. No BSOD or anything, just powers off. Ive checked the running temps, but max CPU is about 57 and my GPU was about 50. I am starting to worry and need some help! Thanks!

What's the PSU? Sounds like it's going bad do you have another or could you borrow one to test with

My psu is a logisys PS550ABK. Its not much, and i dont have access to a different one. The psu is several years old.

Also, the psu has started to make a clickish type sound. It has never done that before.

Save up you cash and pounce on a Corsair CX600 or XFX 550 power supply ASAP !!!!

With your rig for a good 500 - 550 with about 21 AMPs on the 12 Volt rail

That'll work, not highly rated but if you get a good one, they are fairly reliable, would prefer a better brand name

Your supply "claims" to be 550 watts.... but this brand is using the Total Power wattage.....

For gaming system you need power on 12volt line. Your supply has:
Output
+3.3@30A, +5V@38A, +12@25A, -12V@0.8A, -5@0.5A, +5VSB@2A

For 300watts (25A * 12volts) (this is NOT enough, according to manufacturer's recommendations, for ANY add on GPU card)
