Hi all,

I'm completely new to printing but I started a project offering people custom posters and I was thinking I wanted to make it around 13"x19" - big enough for a poster but also small enough so I don't need to get the really expensive industrialized printers.

My question is, whats the best printer and pay to use thats high quality but not extremely expensive as well? I was doing research and it seems to point to photo printers using 13x19" glossy photo papers (which is roughly $50 for 50 pieces). Does this produce the best quality posters?

Thanks for all the help here!

that is a rather specific question that would need to be answered by someone who has used larger format photo printers. it might be awhile before someone knowledgeable sees the post and replies (if you get a good answer at all).

i would HIGHLY suggest posting a question on a few photoshop/graphic design professional websites as well as on some photo/printing websites. people in those fields use such printers all the time so might be able to give you specific and very good advice.

Hi…you didn’t mention what type of printing you are really going to do.
As ssdx told it’s recommended to contact or post in any design professional website as they will be more aware of it. You can also contact any printing company and they will share more information. All the best for future endeavors :).
