I was forced to dissemble a diplay to repair. Everything was going fine until I saw a smudge on the panel itself, I guess from moisture or finger prints. I tried cleaning with a micro fiber but it didnt work. I tried breath on it a little and that really made it worse! Anyway, I'd like to get those smudges out. Any ideas? Can you use moisture on a bare panel?
Cleaning smudges off a bare LCD panel, not the glass.

You can use distilled water & vinegar. The microfiber is also good. Remember don't press down to hard or you can cause pixels to burn out. Make sure it's 50/50 water to vinegar. There you go, enjoy...

One damp microfiber, one warm one. Wipe the crap away with the damp one, immidiately go over it again with the warm one. Thats what works for me at least, I find any other way leaves streaks.
