Hello so this has started happening about 2 days ago. It was once not very often but now it seems like it is every 5 minutes now. Anyways I purchased a new graphics card which was an Asus HD 7750. Everything was working fine for about 3 weeks but then this started happening. I have now changed the graphics card to my old crappy one which had been working just fine before I swapped it for this new one. Even after switching it is still doing the same thing? What could be the problem? My computer has an Intel DX58SO board, and an i7 940

old crappy graphics card? what graphics card? nvidia?
you might be having a driver problem.
if you had an nvidia card in there before... follow this guide then follow the next guide.

reinstall the latest amd catalyst drivers.

idealy every time you install new amd/nvidia drivers, you should do a manual uninstall of all the old drivers.
