I am planing buy a good GPU for my new PC for my 3d animation and multimedia works. I choose 2 GPU well in my budget range. on is 2GB AMD Radeon 7950, and another one is 2GB NVidia GeForce GTX 660. But I can't decide which one should I buy :(.. please help me to decide...

Solution
the 7950 is far more powerful than the 660 and depending on the game it can be as fast as a 670 but other times is as fast as a 660ti. if the tahiti gpu is not voltage locked then the 7950 is a better overclocker than the gk104 kepler cards. i dont know where your finding a 2gb 7950 because it doesn't exist. the only tahiti chips with 2gb vram is the 7870le/7870xt which is a further gimped tahiti chip. also i dont know where your finding any 7950s because their all gone and any for sale are going for outrageous prices.

Well, I saw both of their specifications given in their official pages, and its seems like AMD has the upper hand. But it is the specification of 3GB AMD Radeon 7950, and what I choose is 2GB Radeon 7950 (which is little cheaper than 2GB GTX 660). So what is the different between 3GB Radeo 7950 and 2GB Radeon 7950??
