hi guys

im planning to buy a new rig. and im having a hard time thinking which is the wiser thing to do.

with my budget i may be able to get an fx 6300 with a 7850 or even 7870 but im going to have to settle with a crappy board maybe a 4gb 1600 ram and an hdd an a mid tier psu and a mid tier case.
or im thinking if i just build an apu system for now and maximize my budget. id go with a8 6600k couple with a 2x4gb 2400 ram, get an ssd, a good board maybe an asrock extreme 4m, a bronze psu and a good case. just to have a decent graphics to get by, then add an r9 270 or a 7850 or 7870 later. then ill have a better all around rig

only problem is will my a8 6600k bottleneck my r9 270 or hurt me on the future cause i know 6300 is a bettter processor. what do you think guys?

Solution

No, it i'll work fine. An A10 6800k is basically an Athlon X4 750 with a intergrated GPU.

well i have about 570$ unfortunately i live in the Philippines and parts here are more expensive and other parts are not available here like the x4 750k. well a dollar is equal to P45 and this is the website i can get parts from http://pcx.com.ph/ dont need an operating system

Wow, there aren't even any 970 series chipsets on that site. Well if you can get your hands on these, you'll have a pretty good gaming experience. It's the similar to a PC I built a while back. FX6300, AsRock 970 Extreme3, 4Gb RAM will do for now, HD 7850, any 1TB HDD, a 80 Plus power supply for Coolermaster, Antec, Corsair or Seasonic and any cheap case you can get your hands on. Hopefully that'll be $570.

If you can get your hands on a A10 6800k, you'll do fine for now. It really depends what you're going to do with the computer. I assume gaming, for light to medium gaming, the A10 will be fine.
