Hello, my name is Parker Smith, and I'm currently attending high school as a freshman. I consider myself to be intelligent when it comes down to most things. Speaking that I am currently in 1 A.P class already, I wanna start planning my life financially, and as well as prepared.

I want to start my own business when I am eligible, the business would be for computer build's and repairs. And I wanna try slowly easing into a path where I should begin my career. I just wanna know if and how I can start one under the table and maybe take it to the extreme and buy a entire building. I have the knowledge of building a p.c well, and I can navigate through an OP, and read code. I just wanna make a living off of my dream career, and if you can give me some guidance to start this dream, it would be phenomenal! Thanks I appreciate you help!

Look to get an internship or apprenticeship at a local computer shop. Then start studying for certifications. CompTIA A+ is the standard for IT professionals or a computer repairman. Start there and just keep expanding your certs.

One thing I did in highschool if I knew of some very small mom and pop shops that had maybe one or two computers I would be their IT department. It was mostly on call stuff, family and friends would recommend me to them, and since they were small and I was in HS I would only change about $30 an hour which for them was a great price. And it worked out good for me I help a small business and I got experience and references when I started to look for an real IT job.

If you could do something like this it will allow you to get experience with dealing with customers, and their needs.
