Hi guys, It is time to get a new build going. I will mostly be using this for mining litecoins and such with occasional gaming when I have the time. What do you think of this:

1) CPU/APU: AMD A10-7850 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... $190

2) MOBO: Gigabyte Ga-G1.Sniper A88x http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... $110

3) Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB DDR3 2133 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... $96

4) 2-4 R9 280X or 290 or 7990 etc

5) 1200w-1300w PSU probably seasonic one or combine 2 750w psus.

Parts I have: Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, DVD-RW, Case

My major concerns are:

Will the new A10 Kaveri work well with those graphic cards?

Any bottleneck issues I would have to worry about?

Should I go for cheaper memory or go for 16gb or more? A different brand perhaps?

Budget isn't too big of a problem, but I don't want to spend more if I don't need to. For now this build will mostly be used for mining coins.

What are your thoughts? Tips?

Thanks in advance.

That motherboard only has 2 PCI-e slots and one is only running at x4 bandwidth. Means you can only have a 2 graphics cards and the second will loose ~10% performance.

This board is actually cheaper and will support 3-way Crossfire in x8/x8/x4 or 2-way in x8/x8.

Power supply efficiency is vital for mining as running multiple GPU's 24/7 eats up electricity. Try to get a PSU with at least Gold rated efficiency.

Thanks for the reply. That does look better. I was thinking of buying some riser cables (1x-16x) for mining purposes. Would that keep the performance same or will I still lose some performance? Will need to find some really good cooling options too.

Why do you need APU ? Just FX 8350 ?

Apparently the Kaveri is primed for mining. I wonder if that will give a boost to the graphics card for mining or not.

If you're okay with waiting, then wait for the athlon ones, if not, then grab that A10, and it will NOT bottleneck any GPU that goes up into 780 ti (I think) as long as you overclock it well. use 2 7990, or quad 280x/290, or wait for the Vesuvius

Thanks Antaredja. Which Athlon ones are you talking about? When do they come out? I highly doubt this part: but will those new Athlon ones work with the mobo I picked when they come out? That Vesuvius sounds like a beast for sure.

Of course, Athlon is just APU-GPU, or iGPU, I'm not sure about when will they come out, Of course, if you doubt then just grab A10 7600/7700lk, they have less GPU and still the same CPU, Of course, it's powered by 2 r9-290, it's just an upgraded 7990
