I am looking to buy the new AMD A10 7850 k APU combined with a Radeon R7 250 to take advantage of Dual Graphics.

My question is could I couple it with 2 Radeon R7 250s instead of one and still take advantage of Dual Graphics?

No. If you are wanting to game you'd be much better off dropping the apu and getting a am3+ cpu and a faster single gpu like a r9 270.

My budget is an issue here which is why I do not wish to spend significantly more on a system like that.

My plan is to get an AMD A10 7850 k with 1 Radeon R7 250 to enable Dual Graphics which should be more than enough for any game at the moment really.

But in the future, to keep up to spec, I was wondering if I could add another Radeon R7 250 so that I can effectively have 3 gpus.

1 being the APU and 2 Radeon R7 250s.

The reason I ask if this will work is because an A10 7850k will work with 1 Radeon R7 250 under Dual Graphics and Dual Graphics is similar to Crossfire.

As Crossfire allows up to 4 Graphics Cards to be linked at once, would it not make sense that Dual Graphics allows up to 4 as well.

So my question to you is how do you know that you cant allow 2 Graphics Cards with an APU under Dual Graphics?

Is there a source or link I can check to confirm this?

P.s. I am not a big fan of Intel Systems because while I agree that the best gaming system will utilise a top Intel CPU and a Top GPU, the premium you pay for a system like that is not cost effective. I, like most people, am looking to build a 750 pounds pc with a view as to replacing it every 4 years. I am not going to spend 1,000 to 1,500 pounds like the minority of people. Rather I am spending 500 pounds on the Base Unit alone every 4 years and if I need to then I will add a moderate level graphics card in year 2 to keep it up to date but that's it.

Because my last post was long, let me re iterate.

Can you please provide a source stating that that an APU cannot work with 2 corresponding Dual Graphics Recommended Discrete Graphics Cards creating a 3 GPU solution similar to Crossfire?

(I am not interested in non APU solutions as they come at too high a cost premium and I have no desire to spend over 500 pounds on a Base Unit Ever).

All you have to so is look at the specs for the cards(http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/r7/Page...) none support 3 or 4 way crossfire, 2 gpus are the max for the r7 series, Its the R9's that can support upto 4 gpu's in xfire. Have you ever used hybrid crossfire with an APU and GPU? Every time I have seen it the microstutter is horrible and made many games unplayable.
Also socket AM3+ is AMD not intel.
You can easily build a decent gaming rig for under 500 without using an APU

Thank you. I appreciate the answer. Its been very helpful.

Sorry if it sounded like I was being critical earlier, I did believe you but it is important for me to learn about this stuff so your sources are appreciated.

I wish I was able to put these parts together myself to save the overhead I end up paying PC stores for construction. If I could, I would use PC Part Picker.
