installing a 16GB of ram in a laptop with 8GB max ram support !!

hi guyz

i am woking with adobe after effects and i have only a 6gb of ram
and its pretty slow
so i want to upgrade the ram to 16 GB
but the official specifications says that it supports only a 8 GB of ram

Yes, sorry, I thought you was a teenager noob. More ram would help there but you are stuck , I doubt there is even a bios update to goto 16 because laptop makers dont want you to break it in warrenty.

i know
but adobe after effects render in the ram
so people always use like 16 or 32 gb of ram
the recommended ram is 8GB while running Adobe AE and i am using 6 i think it will be better to upgrade to 16 instead of 8 :)
if my laptop wont accept more than 8 i will keep going with 8 :)

okay
now its a software limitation
not a hardware limitation .. so i will go to other forum about bios and i will ask them about that " BIOS: InsydeH2O Version 03.72.32F.25" which is installed in my machine :)
