3gb 580gtx still good for 1920x1080 gaming?

I have a EVGA 3gb 580gtx for a video card. I do all my gaming at 1920x1080. Have a 4770k @ 4.1 and 16gb of memory in my desktop. Can this card still hold it's own in gaming at that resolution?

yes, most defiantly. the 580 is still a good card even if its a little loud and runs hot.

Yeah certainly can. Obviously the newer cards perform better, but the 580 is still a good card. Might be worth waiting for the new Maxwell 800 series before upgrading.

The answer to your question is Yes. The card has enough RAM and power to run the best games on Max settings. And on a single monitor in 1920x1080 It will run perfect. Nothing to worry about
