I've got an external hard drive with 1Tb capacity and over 250 Gb of files on it (all big ones). When i connected my harddrive to the computer, a message popt up saying i had to format my harddrive or scan it for recovery of bad sectors in order to use it. Obviously i chose the second option. It has been scanning for over 10 hours now and the progress isn't over half yet. Is this normal, what should i do?
