Hi, I have an ASRock H61M-S motherboard, and at the moment I'm breadboarding it, when I turn it it beeps 4 times (short)

I can't find a 4 beep code anywhere, the box says it supports AMI UEFI, I've checked that beep code list and 4 beeps isn't even listed there, on the AMI list 4 beeps means 'system timer failure', to which I've tested the system with both RAM sticks, 1 RAM stick, switched that one incase defect, and no RAM. Same result.

I've tried the system with everything plugged in and with each piece of hardware at a time taken out, always those 4 cursed beeps.

Forgot to add there is no display with or without the graphics card, through DVI nor HDMI

This is my setup:

ASRock H61M-S mobo
Corsair CX750M PSU
ASUS 1GB GTX 560Ti
i5 3570 Ivy Bridge Quad Core (LGA 1155)
Corsair Vengeance 1600 DDR3 2x4GB
Sata HDD
Sata DVD-RW
Stock Intel heatsink (the heatsink I bought was too big)

Anyone got any idea please? Also this is a brand new mobo that I bought this morning so if it's a case of the mobo being dead, I really can't understand why :S

Reseat everything connected to the motherboard, all components and power connectors. Also, make sure you don't have any screws laying on the motherboard shorting anything.

beeps 4 times for a AMI bios is System timer failure. This issue can be caused by any of the below situations.
-New hardware conflicting with old hardware.
-Bad or failing hardware device.
-Connections not connected or connected properly.
-Recent electrical storm that caused a surge that damaged computer.
-Other hardware issue.

As you have done number of things, try this step too:
Reseat the CMOS battery. By removing and then reinstalling the CMOS battery, you remove the source of power that saves your computer's BIOS settings. Don't forget to unplug you PSU cable from PSU before removing the battery.
