Hi,

First to say money is not a problem. I will be doing a lot of video editing and playing demanding games. Since the Fx 8350 has more cores is it better at video editing and rendering?

Thanks :)

Solution

Dont worry . Hyperthreading is fully functioning .i have i3 with hyperthreading and it works .Btw , the 8 cores of FX 8350 are something like 4 cores plus hyperthreading .Might find some articles on this .Trust tests.

Unless OP changed the tittle i simply dont get some of the answers.
the 8350 is by no way better than a 4930k at rendering.
The FX will not be better at newer games. Newer games will rely on intels strong cores and AMD cores number = Stronger and more cores.
It's by no means fair to compare a fx 8350 against a intel extreme CPU.

It wont, by no way. EVER.
8350 is a good CPU, there arent a single card out there yet that a 8350 will bottleneck
