I am looking for camera within 12-15K.
I am not a professional photographer but I want a camera with manual controls because I want to learn photography.

I have shortlisted few.
1. Nikon L820(though it doesnt have manual controls)
2. Nikon L320
3. Fujifilm sl300
And NikonP500 is put up for sale by one of my frnd at 13000 INR. I can bargain and get it for less.

Which one should I go for ?

I am a die-hard Nikon user and consider Nikons to be superior in reliability and performance.

These days it is hard to find a 'Manual" controls camera in the low end of the price range. Get one in the medium price range and turn OFF the Auto feature and use it in the Manual Mode for learning photography.

I suggest you look at cameras at this US store: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/ and pick one that suits your needs and shop locally in India (or elsewhere).

Whatever you like is worth the money. You need to satisfy yourself first.

Yes, thats important too.
But if you are too rate it for image quality, how many stars would you give (out of 5) ?
