pentium 4 @ 3.0(well i know this doesn't match but is there anything to boost 0.2 of my processor)
ram 1 gb
nvidia geforce 9500 gt 1 gb
xp sp3.

I would recommend that you stick with Call of Duty 4 and I am pretty sure you are pirating it.(Because you are asking if you should DOWNLOAD it or not) well then get the hell out. If you are trying to download from steam then why not ask steam support?
Anyway yes it will run I had a configuration similar to you and it ran at like 12-13 FPS at 640p so yeah if you wanna play like that then go ahead and download it and play.

I am really sorry for it But In My Country There's No Such Rule.In Your Reply You Said yeh it will run i had a configuration similar like 12-13 fps.In this you are telling about cod 4 or modern warfare 2 Cause I Already Have Played Cod 4 So Will Modern warfare 2 Work ON my Pc.Sorry For my bad English.
Request you to please just tell me yes or no About modern warfare 2 just.. yes or no.Sorry for pirating!
