GPU Dedicated Memory: Worth $30?

I was looking at two ASUS AMD GPUs, one of which is a 2 gig model, and one of which is 1 gb. The 2 gig is $30 more, which I thought was a bit much for an extra DVI port. Thoughts on which I should buy? Further info neccessary? Let me know please.

Absolutely, modern day games at 1080p require much more memory than they used to. The extra memory will provide extra buffer making your frame rates smoother. The average dx11 game today will use more than 2gb of memory to run at high settings.
