Hey Guys/Girls,
I currently have the Corsair Vengance Pro 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 DRAM 2133MHz C9 Memory Kit installed in my machine & have them set to their pre-programmed Intel XMP profile.
My question is, If i buy a second set of exactly the same RAM, can I drop them in and still use the same XMP profile? or will i need to find a new profile that is designed to operate with a 4 x 4GB setup?

Thankyou all for your help & time.

Solution
The profile is for the packaged set, and it's best not to mix, they may or may not want to play together, even with the same exact model. A complete 4x set (or 2x8GB set is preferable), however if you do try will want to simply stick in the new ones and exsure the freq and base timings are correct manually in the BIOS, if no joy, try adding about + 0.06 to the DRAM voltage, if still no joy, give me a yess. and we can see if we can get them to play nice

Thankyou very much Tradesman1, I think I will play it safe this time round and just wait a little longer then just switch out my 2x4GB's for 4x8GB's.
