I have a Centurylink C1000A Router, I am able to successfully open port 3389 for remote desktop on one of my computers but it's not one I want. So when I try to open the port on the other computer I am not able to successfully open a session & I use canyouseeme.org to check if the port is open.
Is there something I am missing? All settings are the same on both computers as well

You can only map a single machine to a particular port.

You should be able to use a different port number but you will have to change the client to connect to the at other port.

It should work to map port 3389 to machine 1 port 3389 and map port 3390 to machine 2 port 3389 You would then access the machines by using the external internet ip on port 3389 to get to machine 1 and port 3390 to get to machine 2
