Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on toms, just wanna ask that why my catalyst control center cant detect my hd4850 card....?
Im using windows xp 32bit, core 2 duo e4500, and a benq monitor.
The weird stuff is, my computer can run as normal and play games even when ccc is not installed. But, when i scan for update, it encourages me to install the newest CCC.
So, i installed it successfully and it requests for a reboot.
However, after i reboot the pc starts to show in 8 bit basic colour, and the CCC shows up error like " Card not detected/monitor not supported".
Btw im using a converter from dvi graphic card to vga monitor, does it matters...?
