I'm working on building myself a desktop and have done a fair amount of research but would like other opinions!

Case: Apevia X dreamer 4

Mobo: Gigabyte Ga-970a-D3p Am3+\am3 AMD 970 Sata 6gb\s USB 3.0 Atx AMD Mobo

Disk drive: Samsung DVD burner Sata model Sh-224Db-Bebe OEM

Graphics: sapphire dual x r9 270

PSU: thermaltake Tr2 tr700 700w Atx 12v V2.3 & esp Sli crossfire ready

CPU: AMD fx 8350 am3+ 125w

Ram is up for debate looking at least 8gb 1600

Please be as harsh as possible.I'm new to building and want as much insight and feedback as possible. This build is for some hard core ish gaming and some multimedia and video editing.

Thermaltake TR2 is not a good PSU brand. Check out this for good PSUs to look at: eggxpert.com/forums/thread/323050.aspx

8gb of 1600 MHz is good, you don't need overclocked. And RAM is RAM, so don't spend over $80 on it lol

On the CPU, I would personally save $40 and get the 8320, they're the same CPU, the 8320 is just underclocked. Use that saved money to get a nicer PSU :)

I don't comment on cases, as those are strictly personal opinion lol

Other than that, I like the GPU, it's the perfect price/performance, good motherboard and dvd drive.

What is your budget by the way?

What kind of CPU cooling? You should maybe bump your PSU to at least 750W or more if you can. Everything looks pretty good though.

I don't have a budget mainly trying to get closest thing to and extreme rig minus selling my body. I didn't add hardrive too cuz that's based off of what I have left to "spend" looking st a Seagate 1tb and a small ssd for booting. I'll look at a new psu. So far I see about near 450 watts used and I saw that thermal 700 was a fair price! And for cpu cooling I completely forgot to shop for that. Suggestions?

Suggestions on a new psu for this? I'm looking under 100 for the psu with possible watts to spare.
