Sabertooth 990fx 2.0

Just installed Asus AMD 990FX Atx 4 Dimm DDR3 Tuf Sabertooth and AMD FX-8350 EIGHT-CORE 4GHZ 16MB 125W AM3+CPU. I can boot up the system everything checks fine, fans come on. I can boot to BIOS, currently BIOS 2103. Everything reads in BIOS fine. Running 2x4 GB DDR3 1333 MHz, EVGA GeForce GTX 570 1280MB GDDR5 PCIe, Corsair Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650W 80+ Bronze. When I try and boot windows it just loops on restart everytime going to a quick blue screen powering down and restarting. Any help would be great

If you are trying to boot a previous older win install that is normal since it will not run on your new hardware with the drivers for the old. New install is recommended but sometimes repair will take care of it.

Have tried repair multiple times with nothing. So I would have to go buy Win7 since my hdd came pre installed when i bought computer.

OEM Win 7 license only covers the computer it came on anyway.

If you can borrow a windows disk and do a clean install it is not unheard that MS has allowed people to re activate OEM key after a system failure.

I have a windows disk but can't seem to get computer to run my DVD rom drive. Any suggestions, I can go into bios and see that it is connect properly and the motherboard recongizes the drive.

Selected the DVD drive as the first boot device in BIOS?

Boot priority is DVD rom drive first and hd second

That is strange unless there is something wrong with the disk.

My boot device led is on while in bios. It is weird because everything is reading properly while I'm in bios.

This is just a win7 upgrade disk that I got with a sony laptop a while back should I just go buy a new win7 copy and see?

Most likely it is the disk that is not bootable!
