Hello!

I have a little bit of a problem. So recently I bought an Asrock z87 Extreme 4. I noticed that i have an HDMI Input, so I tought why not hook my PS3 up so i can play on my desktop display. I've read about that and the problem is that the display output have to be connected to the motherboard, but i have a dedicated GPU. Is there a way to make it work with gpu out put?

Solution
My that is unique, an HDMI input.... (if you provide a Link to what you have in a post, folks will be sure they are looking at your specific hardware...)

Post your monitor make/model and Link...

But the solution would be to find a way to connect your PC to one monitor input and the PS3 to another monitor input. Then use the monitor input selection switch to toggle between the two sources. Maybe one, PS3, on HDMI and the Computer on DVI.... (IF you don't have two HDMI inputs on your monitor)
