Before i get Arma 3 beta, I want to make sure that my computer can run it at a high FPS.
Also, when running Dayz SA I'm getting FPS Max: 40 Min: 18, how could I increase that?

Specs:
CPU: AMD FX-8120 CPU (8x 3.10GHz/8MB L2 Cache)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti - 2GB
Memory: 8 GB [4 GB X2] DDR3-1600 Memory Module
Resolution: 1920x1080 (1080p)

Thanks,
Dustin

Yea it's server related...It's the same thing with Arma 3.
The extra horsepower does help, but not as much as it should. Just about any CPU is gunna need an overclock for Arma there really isn't much of a frame difference in performance when your talking bottlenecks in the 20's.

If your getting 20 in an area don't expect much more from a more powerful CPU...really no CPU is going to scale preformacen 200% and give anyone 60 FPS.

Im currently using a liquid CPU cooling system [AMD] - ARC silent high performance fan, i feel like it would hold up right?

I would grab an 8350 and shoot for 4.8+ with liquid. Every little bit helps.
Not really the most ergonomically solution, but it should def. be considered while playing Day Z: SA
But for now practice on that 8120...see if it helps enough.

SA is on a sort of arma 2.5 engine not arma 3, when playing the mod once I was discussing fps in side chat, didnt seem to matter that much which setup or video setting everyone was getting the same fps and fps drops in the same places whether amd, i3, i5, or i7. hmmm
