I have a ASUS P9X79 LE, a i7-3820, Crucial DDR3 BallistiX 1600Mhz 16GB, corsair cx 750M PSU, gtx 680, with ssd system 120 gb, storage disk connected + dvdwriter/reader. My system has been running fine for 7 months, today i conneted a gtx 550 ti, only thing i can think of is that it was a short cable, so it was a tight fit. I tried booting up, but only got a brief flash in power led, and nothing when i tried again. So i tried to pull the power out while holding the power button (a tip i got) nothing. So i the mobo to another corsair 750 i got, and this time it briefly blinks in the led power, and the cpu fan starts and shuts down again. (no beep, no post) So i put the mobo on the old psu again, and try to boot up, the cpu fan starts for half a second, also the power led, then system shuts down. I got a green led lighting on my mobo when i turn the power switch to the psu, so psu seems to be giving of power. I need help, anyone able to offer a good tip?
Edit, : ive also tried taking the RAM out, boting with no ram, only leading to the no reaction if i dident hit the psu power switch or manualy plug in and out.
