I'm stuck between getting 2 760's or just getting an ASUS mars. 2 760's will be cheaper but 1 MARS will most likely generate less heat and will have better cooling and it will also take up less space.

More about : gtx 760 sli asus mars

Why not get a single 780? Or hell, jump a tad from the MARS and get a 780 Ti lol

I agree with HiTechObsessed why not just get a 780 and call it a day? gonna cost you little less and you gonna save space and gonna have more future proof card in your hands as well as can buy the 2nd one later and sli it.

But 2 760's got better performance than 1 780 and is it really worth it to get a 780 Ti?

2 760's will not beat a 780 Ti, and yes. The 780 Ti will produce much less heat, consume much less electricity, and give you much better upgradeability.

Edit: Also, SLI is *not* supported everywhere. So when you play something it's not supported in, you will have a single 760 level of performance.

Edit 2: Forgot the word not lol

I would go with either MSI or EVGA. MSI's is $685 right now through PCPartPicker.

From what I've seen, PNY can be iffy on quality. But if it's through Amazon and there was a problem, it probably wouldn't be too much hassle to get it fixed. That's a damn good price on it, especially if you have Prime :p

Yes the 780ti is worth it. This card is a boss man. Its shredding bf4, ac4, some deadfall adventures game that came with it and bioshock infinite. Its just an amazing piece of hardware.

Alright one last question. What is the difference from the normal edition and the enthusiast edition. Also what is the FTW edition? Lol make that 2 questions

Thats just a reference model. Its not made by pny its the reference design with pny sticker on it so it would be a good option. If you could get a non reference design with a better cooler on it I would suggest that. Like msi asus evga

The ftw edition from evga is just clocked higher than stock. Enthusiasts edition is just pny trying to sell their cards. Its nothing different I dont believe from a normal reference card.

Just what they call their tweaked cards. Normal is, well, normal, then the enthusiast is a little faster than that, and the FTW is a little faster than that. That's all lol
