I have two computers and they both have GT520 video cards. One computer uses an AMD FX 6100 as a CPU. The other computer uses a Intel i5 2600. I want to play Company of Heroes 2 and was wondering which rig should I use and what kind of video card upgrade will allow me to play the game with high settings. I use a 1400x900 monitor. I can stand to spend $250-$350 for the new video card.

What are the full specs of both pc's? Can already say the best choice is to use the intel one because that cpu is much better for gaming.
The cards that can play it in high settings are somewere around the hd 7790<r7 260x<7850 and up, for nvidia gtx 650ti boost<gtx 660 and up

make sure your psu can handle a gpu you need around 500watt and make sure it's an 80+ bronze setified one. brands like corsair xfx sesonic anteq ect. are good.

It's also nice to have 8 gb of ram.

ok I have 8GB of ram and I just got myself a GTX 760. I want to go with the AMD system because that is the one I built myself and I use the most. Plus the i5 is part of a prebuilt Hewitt Packard PC and there is no room for the GFX card. Is there a AMD CPU that performs better than the FX 6100 and will get me more mileage out of my current games?

Great gpu.
You can get a fx 6300/8320/8350 but if you're happy with your results now don't get a new cpu it's not worth the money.
