Hey guys, totally new to building computers here. I'm researching the cheapest monitor/keyboard/mouse setup to get, and trying to figure out whether these components connect to one another, or to the motherboard. If the latter case is true, how do I check whether the mobo and the pieces are compatible? For reference, I have this mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

And I'm looking to get this monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

This keyboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

And this mouse: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Thanks a ton

you should be ok. the keyboard will plug into the purple PS/2 port on the motherboard, the mouse plugs into any USB port (though to make things easy to understand, plug it next to where the keyboard connects). the monitor can plug into the large DVI port on the motherboard.
